Fees & Scholarships

RAKMHSU offers competitive tuition fees and scholarship opportunities to support talented students.

1. Merit Scholarship – Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program

Eligibility Criteria Scholarship Benefit Duration
Students who achieve 97% or above (or equivalent) in Grade 12 / UAE NGSSE / equivalent examinations and meet the admission requirements. 20% tuition fee concession First year only

2. Merit Scholarship (From Year 2 Onwards)

Applicable to MD, B.Pharm, BSN and BSM Programs.

Eligibility Criteria Scholarship Benefit
Top three students in each batch with a GPA of 3.8 or above (out of 4.0) and successful completion of all courses without exceptions. 20% tuition fee concession for the following academic year
All other students with a GPA of 3.8 or above (out of 4.0) and successful completion of all courses without exceptions. 15% tuition fee concession for the following academic year

Note: Merit scholarships are not applicable to transfer students or repeat students enrolled in only a few courses. The University reserves the right to review and revise this policy periodically.

3. Merit Scholarship – Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Program (Year 1)

Students securing above 95% (or equivalent) in the overall aggregate of Grade 12 / UAE NGSSE / equivalent examinations and meeting the admission eligibility requirements. 20% tuition fee concession First year only
Students securing above 90% (or equivalent) in the overall aggregate of Grade 12 / UAE NGSSE / equivalent examinations and meeting the admission eligibility requirements. 15% tuition fee concession First year only

Merit Scholarship – (BDS) Program (From Year 2 Onwards)

Students who secure a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale in the year-end examinations and complete all registered courses without any exceptions. 20% tuition fee concession Following academic year

Note: Merit scholarships from Year 2 onwards are awarded based on the annual GPA and not on the GPA of an individual semester.

  • Students will receive either the Merit Scholarship or the Sibling Discount, whichever provides the higher benefit.
  • The Merit Scholarship applies to both new and existing batches.
  • Merit Scholarships are calculated only on the actual tuition fee collected for the semester or academic year.
  • Final-semester or final-year grades are not considered for Merit Scholarship eligibility.
  • Master’s Programs are not eligible for Merit Scholarships.
  • Students sponsored by Government or Private Sponsors are not eligible for Merit Scholarships or Sibling Discounts.
  • The University reserves the right to review and revise this policy periodically based on institutional requirements and budgetary considerations.

4. Pharmacy Scholarship

All students enrolling in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program during their first semester of first year. 50% scholarship on tuition fees

Sibling Discount Policy (AY 2026–27 Onwards)

  • Applicable to fresh intake students joining on or after Academic Year 2026–27.
  • Sibling discounts apply only to own brothers and sisters studying concurrently at RAKMHSU, whether enrolled in the same or different programs.
  • The younger sibling is eligible for the discount while the elder sibling continues to study at the University.
  • If siblings join the University in the same academic year, the student enrolled in the higher tuition fee program will be eligible for the sibling discount.
  • Both siblings must pay the full tuition fee for the semester and must not be enrolled in any repeating courses.
  • Students repeating courses are not eligible for sibling discounts.
  • If one sibling is sponsored by a Government or Private Sponsor, the other sibling will not be eligible for a sibling discount.
  • If a sibling is already receiving any fee concession from RAKMHSU, no additional sibling discount will be granted.
  • Students availing sibling discounts are not eligible for any other scholarships or discounts.
  • All tuition fee discounts and concessions are calculated based on the actual tuition fee payable for the academic year.

8. NAFIS Scholarship

Eligible Emirati students admitted to the following programs:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Midwifery (BSM)
NAFIS covers 100% of full fees
