About Us: RAK MHSU Library
Welcome to the RAK MHSU Library, a hub of information and learning excellence since its establishment in 2006. Our mission is to provide the latest and most comprehensive resources in various formats, including books, e-books, e- databases and audio-visual materials related to medical and allied health sciences. The library offers a modern and welcoming environment, supported by efficient services and facilities, and is staffed by courteous and competent professionals dedicated to serving your needs.
Our Location and Facilities:
The RAK MHSU Library is conveniently situated on the 2nd floor of the building, boasting a total area of 1350 square meters. Within this space, you'll find Fourteen discussion rooms for group study and collaboration. To enhance your library experience, we've equipped our facility with modern technology, including Library Security Systems such as surveillance cameras and security gates.
Who We Serve:
Our library is a dynamic and multifaceted Learning Resource Centre that caters to the intellectual needs of a diverse user base. This includes faculties, students, staff, and other allied health science professionals.
Our Learning Resources:
To create an optimal learning environment, we continually maintain and develop a variety of learning resources. These include a comprehensive collection of books, journals, online databases, periodicals, e-books, and e-journals. We've carefully curated these resources to align with the curriculum and requirements of our students and educators. Our collection spans various disciplines, from general education and self-improvement to specialized programs in medical, nursing, pharmacy, and dental sciences.
Accessing E-Resources:
We understand the importance of accessibility, which is why we offer all subscribed E-Resources for both on-campus and off-campus access through our RAKMHSU E-Library Single-Sign Portal. This means you can tap into our wealth of electronic resources wherever you are, making research and learning more convenient than ever.
Library Management and Technology:
Our circulation services are powered by a RFID-Based fully automated Library Management System, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of library materials and resources. We also provide high-speed internet to facilitate access to online services, including online databases, e-books, e-journals, and more. With these technologies in place, we aim to make your library experience seamless and productive.
