Librarian's Message

Welcome to RAK MHSU Library, established in 2006 as a learning resource center. It aims to offer effective services to its users to cater their learning needs in the field of Medical and Health Sciences through its user-friendly & state of the art facilities. Keeping in view the needs of current and upcoming users, we are maintaining an International Standard Documentation (ISD) and National Library of Medicine (NLM) Classification and Cataloguing system. We also have an E-Library Portal that is providing both on-campus and off-campus Single-Sign on platform to all electronic resources subscribed by the university such as Medline Complete, Up-To-Date, ClinicalKey Student, AMBOSS, LexiDrug, CINAHL Ultimate, EBSCO Dentistry and Oral Sciences Sources, Scopus, Turnitin, EndNote, Online Journals and E-books Etc.

This library is supporting the Academic Programs of Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Nursing and General Education through its collections and services.

The main objective of the central library is to emerge RAK Medical & Health Sciences University as the best Medical & Health Sciences University in the UAE by keeping good collection of learning resources and providing finest services to faculty & students of the University.

We, at RAK MHSU Learning Resource Centre always strive to provide better services and facilities to support the University Teaching, Learning and Research activities.
