World Diabetes Day Outreach – 13 November 2024

Participants: RAK College of Nursing Faculty and Students

Target Group: Hospital Patients (children and their parents) and the community (Schools)

RAK College of Nursing noticeable World Diabetes Day with an outreach program at AQWCH. Faculty and students provided personalized education on diabetes prevention, symptoms, and lifestyle changes. On-site blood glucose checks supported early screening and awareness.

The initiative promoted public understanding of diabetes and gave students practical experience in community health education.
