World Food Day Celebration – 16 October 2024

Participants: RAK College of Nursing Faculty and Students

Target Group: School Students (Grades 4–8)

RAK College of Nursing celebrated World Food Day at RAK Private School with interactive sessions on healthy eating, balanced diets, and nutrition awareness. RAKCON Faculty and Students delivered age-appropriate talks, while nursing students led engaging activities including:

• Educational games on healthy vs junk food

• Art competitions themed “Eat Right, Live Bright”

• Fun quizzes to reinforce learning

The event promoted nutrition awareness and gave nursing students hands-on experience in school-based health education.
