World Mental Health Day – 2nd Al Amal Research Award Day December 12, 2024

RAK College of Nursing, Dean, faculty, and students participated in Al Amal Hospital’s World Mental Health Day event to promote emotional well-being among healthcare professionals. They conducted sessions on stress management, burnout prevention, and resilience, along with interactive discussions encouraging open dialogue about mental health.

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al Faouri , Dean of RAK College of Nursing received an Appreciation Award for outstanding support and collaboration in their role as Dean. Additionally, the Dean presented a memento to the Director of Nursing at Al Amal Hospital in recognition of her hard work and support for nursing students.

Dr. Ghada Shahrour was honored as one of the award winners. The initiative strengthened peer support and helped students enhance their skills in mental health advocacy and interprofessional collaboration.
