Dr. Tarun Wadhwa, Associate Professor, Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology, RAKCOP, was invited to deliver a session on “Pharmaceutical Care Interventions” in 5-day Virtual Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Recent Technological Trends and Advancements in Pharmaceutical Sciences” organized by Association of Indian Universities and Amity University Haryana, India from 9th Oct. to 13th Oct. 2023. The target audience for FDP were Academicians, Deans, Directors, Research Scholars, Master students and various research professionals from Industry, institution and healthcare sectors. In the session, he highlighted the importance of pharmaceutical care interventions in chronic disease patients. The main focus of the session was how pharmacist mediated interventions can contribute significantly in optimizing therapeutic outcomes.
