• Plans annual calendar of various sports events and ensures its effective implementation with in the budget costs.
• Promotes the spirit of sportsmanship amongst students by ensuring their large participation in various sports events and competitions within and outside the university.
• Maintains all sports facilities and equipments in good working condition at all.
• Ensures general fitness of students by organizing and supervising routine physical training and exercises activities.
• Ensures voluntary participation of students in regular public awareness campaigns.
• Creates and maintains a positive image of the University by effective representations in Higher Education Sports Federation.
• Creates and maintains up-to date students- files and records relating to sports and other activities and submits necessary as required.
• Maintains excellent links with sporting organization including educational institutions within RAK and other Emirates.
